About the Project

The goal of this project is to just see what happens, and find out what good & inspiration can come from inserting our communities with random acts of kindness during the holidays.

12 Days of Kindness was born when member of a small women’s Bible study shared the project 38 Random Acts of Robyn. Inspiration followed… why not create a project around the holidays to redirect our focus outward, serve others, and pour holiday love into the community… hopefully touching those who may need it most, guided by God’s hand?

The Rules

  1. Do 12 Random Acts of Kindness during the month of December/January in honor of the 12 Days of Christmas.
  2. See rule 1.

We’d love for you to write to us about your experiences, as a way of inspiring others along the way. Document your experience (with photos, if possible/appropriate) and send us your story! We’ll post your stories & photos to inspire and motivate.

What is a random act of kindness?

This is not a new concept— there’s actually an entire foundation devoted to the subject (http://www.randomactsofkindness.org/) and there are many great resources out there.

Ultimately, these small or large acts are things that make the world a better place to an unexpecting beneficiary. The acts should essentially be anonymous.

In case you haven’t put 2 and 2 together yet, the name 12 Days of Kindness is a pun derived from the 12 Days of Christmas song.
